Consumption in Brazil is estimated to be around 175 thousand tons / year, distributed as follows:

• 94% are used in fiber cement products
• 6% are destined to friction and similar products.

Global consumption is approximately 2.2 million of tons / year, with an estimated growth of 5% a year, distributed as follows:

• 90% are used in fiber cement products
  Ex.: Roofing tiles, insulating material, partitions, pipes and water tanks are only some of the examples.
• 7% for friction products for automobiles
  Ex.: brake pads and linings and clutch discs.
• 3% for textiles, filter, paper and cardboard, insulation products, thermal insulation, flooring material, among other products.
